Learn-to-Row Summer Camps

Learn-to-Row camp is perfect for first time rowers! This rewarding sport helps young athletes develop strength, endurance, and coordination. During the week-long camp, rowers learn rowing fundamentals and experience the camaraderie of the Club. We begin with a basic workout program, and everyone gets a chance to row on Alum Creek.

Learn rowing fundamentals

Learn basic technique on erg machines, how to carry boats and oars, and safety on the water. Enjoy some water time and parents cheering on from the beach.

Teamwork & perseverance

Our Club fosters a strong sense of camaraderie within a supportive team environment. An entire crew must work together to make the difference and succeed.

No experience needed

If you are an incoming 8th-12th grader, then you can row. No prior rowing experience is needed. Most college rowers start rowing In high school.
